Im Ho is a South Korean actor and professor. He graduated from Baejae High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theatrical and Film Studies and a master's degree in Performance and Media, both from Chung-Ang University. Before debuting, he appeared in minor roles as a child actor in "Country Diaries".

He made his debut in 1993 as part of the 15th open recruitment for talent at KBS with a very small role in "The Sorrow of the Survivor" and "The White Maze". Due to the lack of opportunities, he moved to SBS where he earned a role in "Jang Hee Bin" and he started to get noticed by the audience due to his acting skills.

His father is writer Im Chung, who focuses on historical dramas, so they worked together in several of them. He has played almost every role, being a servant, an eunuch, a prince, a king, etc., and the audience mostly associates him to these type of dramas. He won his only acting award, the Excellence Award for a Daily Drama, at the 2015 KBS Drama Awards after more than 20 years of debuting.
